It´s a pleasure for us to invite you to participate of the Cuba Travel Convention, which will take in Varadero beach, Cuba, during the first week of May.
We would want to start a business relation with you company, in order to promote our destination, Cuba, one of the most beautiful islands of the Caribbean Sea. The Tourism Convention of Cuba is the ideal framework for presentations, negotiations and the signing of contracts among the various Cuban and foreign entities.
This commercial forum will provide the opportunity for countries in the area to place their new and traditional products in new and demanding markets accustomed to an ever more varied and competitive array of products. Tour operators, entrepreneurs, airlines executives, hotel managers, journalists and travel agents will have all the necessary facilities for their business encounters. The event will be held in Varadero beach, 126 km to the east of Havana City.
Pabexpo will be responsible for the setup of the stands contracted by national and foreign entities, as well as special designs that may be requested. Cuban and foreign entities will be given one credential free of charge for each modular stand measuring between 9m2 and 27m2. The minimun space price is $800 (stand of 9m2 ).
The registration fee is payable at the International Conference Center in Havana. Participants who stay at the event’s official hotels and representatives of agencies registered in Cuba will receive a 50% discount, after showing their identification.
Cuban and foreign travel journalists interested in covering any of the Tourism Convention sessions should contact us ASAP. A team of specialists will offer detailed information about the event, as well as the necessary equipment, supplies and services. For the new edition of the Tourism Convention, Cuba 2004, Cubana de Aviación, the country’s leading airline, offers the following facilities to registered participants:
A 75% discount on excursion fares for travel agents and a 40% discount for escorts and others eligible between the dates of the Convention, which includes some days before and after the event. These discounts do not affect the annual allotment for each agent, in line with IATA regulations.
These sales will be made under the following conditions:
– Proof of accreditation for the Convention must be shown.
– The ticket issued must read, “Cuba 2004,” with the notation of “75%” or “40%,” whichever applies.
