Hotel Park View

Hotel Park View is exactly what it implies, a hotel overlooking a park. Built in 1928 as an American-style hotel, the architecture of this hotel wouldn’t look out of place on a street in Manhattan. Nevertheless, the Park View retains a distinctly Cuban atmosphere thanks to its friendly, outgoing staff.
The entire hotel – painted in varied shades of green – exudes a peaceful atmosphere (in contrast to the busy city streets beyond its doors). The rooms are functional rather than frivolous, but sufficiently equipped for a pleasant stay. Simplicity and hospitality are the motto here, characteristics that fit well with its economic price. Park View has a lobby bar and a restaurant on the seventh floor – the views are stunning, as you may imagine. The hotel is surrounded by interesting sights, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Sloppy Joe’s bar, the Malecón and the leafy Paseo del Prado promenade; all can be visited on foot. The Park View offers excellent group accommodation, but is equally appropriate for independent tourists, including those travelling by rental car, since it has a parking lot nearby. |
